After a short break in their schedule, the Bonham High School cross country teams were back on the trails in Pottsboro on Saturday. Highlights included a second place overall finish by the varsity boys.
Tony Cruz took 2nd place, while Jacob Campbell, Tanner Reaves, Nick Rhinehart and Kris Barr all finished in the top 20. The JV boys squad finished 3rd overall, led by Said Longoria in 5th place.
Samantha Hodge was first to cross the line for the Lady Warriors, finishing 24th in a field of 77 runners. In the JV division, Lily Carter led the Lady Warriors, followed closely by Shelby Jones and Reese Davis. The JV girls finished 5th overall.
Bonham will compete next weekend in the Melissa Invitational which will be held at Myers Park in McKinney.
