Fannin County, Texas -- Fans of Fannin County history will find much to enjoy in the newly published book about the Mulberry area by Gregory Hall entitled The Gathered Words of Mulberry, Texas.

For many years, Gregory has been collecting stories and photographs about the people who lived on this bend of Red River in northern Fannin County.  It is amazing what he has been able to collect.

Much of the material was previously available on his website - www.mulberrytx.com - but now it is available is a lovely, large book.

The book is beautifully laid out and quality of the photos is wonderful.  While the volume is almost 600 pages, it can be purchased from Amazon for only $21 - a real bargain.

Congratulations to Gregory on this achievement.  For those of you who might want to take a look before purchasing the book, there is a copy at the Fannin County Historical Commission's office at the old Depot in Bonham.
