Valley View -- The Lindsay Lady Knights moved to 11-0 in District 10-2A with a three-set win at Valley View 3-0.

This match got more competitive as it went along.  Lindsay won the opener, 25-10, and followed up with a 25-19 victory in a much closer second set.

These two teams saved their best for last as the Lady Knights turned back a valiant Valley View effort, 31-29, in an exciting conclusion to the match.

Karson Dykes had a double-double with 10 kills and 19 assists. Ashley Fleitman also dished off 19 assists to go along with six kills, three aces, seven digs and three blocks.

Jocelyn Grewing knocked down a dozen kills to pace the potent Lindsay attack.

Makenzie Fleitman finished with eight kills and a pair of aces.

Rachel Metzler was a force on defense, blocking seven spikes and coming up with 12 digs to fuel the Lady Knights' offense.

Brianna Craigie finished with five kills and two blocks.

Olivia Hertel got under a team-high 16 digs and also slipped a pair of aces through the Valley View defense.

Skylar Tatum had six digs.

The Lindsay Lady Knights (32-6, 11-0) will travel to Forestburg on Tuesday, October 17.  The JV game will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the varsity game.
