PACCAR breaks ground on McKinney manufacturing facility

McKINNEY, Texas (Oct. 12, 2017) – The McKinney Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has announced PACCAR, a Fortune 500 company, held a groundbreaking ceremony today to begin construction on a new manufacturing facility in McKinney for its Dynacraft division. Construction will be completed in 2018.

PACCAR is constructing a 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility located at Wilmeth Road and Redbud Boulevard. Under an incentive agreement with MEDC, the company will bring 200 jobs to the community in the next six years and make capital investments of over $20 million.

PACCAR is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of high-quality light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates. PACCAR also designs and manufactures advanced diesel engines, provides financial services and information technology, and distributes truck parts related to its principal business.
