North Texas Crime Stoppers offers a reward of up to $10,000 cash

Dallas – FBI Dallas continues to seek the public’s assistance in identifying unknown individuals dubbed the “Country Boy Bandits” and their getaway driver, who are believed to be responsible for bank and convenience store robberies in White Settlement, Grapevine, and Fort Worth, Texas between June and September 2017.  North Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of these individuals.

The “Country Boy Bandits” are believed responsible for the following robberies:

·         June 26 – Valero Gas Station, 9400 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas

·         June 29 – First Bank of Texas, 301 E State Highway 114, Grapevine, Texas

·         July 10 – Pinnacle Bank, 4313 Wester Center Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas

·         August 2 – Wells Fargo Bank, 5322 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas

·         August 5 – Chase Bank, 4420 Golden Triangle, Fort Worth, Texas

·         September 26 – 7-11 Gas Station, 3300 Western Center, Fort Worth, Texas

In each robbery, one masked robber entered the building armed with a firearm and demanded money.  In three of the six robberies, the weapon was discharged inside the building.  The robbers have used a revolver-style pistol, a 45 semi-automatic handgun, a 40 semi-automatic handgun, and a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

At least three different vehicles have been used to perpetrate the robberies: a black Chevrolet Tahoe with after-market wheels, a Blue Saturn Vue, and a Black Dodge Ram pick-up with a silver toolbox in the bed.  In all robberies, the getaway driver waited in the vehicle while one of the robbers went inside the bank or convenience store.

The robbers are described as white males.  At least one of them is approximately 5’10”, 180 pounds with blond hair.  They always wear black stocking masks completely covering their faces; however, in one robbery, the top of the robber’s head was exposed revealing blond hair.  The getaway driver is unknown.  These individuals should be considered armed and dangerous.
