Bonham -- The Bonham Warriors and the Aubrey Chaparrals traded the lead five times in the first half before Aubrey began pulling away late in the second quarter and went on to earn a 14-point win on the road.

Aubrey got on the scoreboard first when Will Dow went in from five yards out to give the Chaparrals a 7-0 lead.
Early in the second period, Bonham got on the board when Nick Rhinehart kicked a 34-yard field goal.
Aubrey turned the ball over and Bonham capitalized on the error when Tyler Rodriguez scored on a quarterback sneak. Azyon Dunlap went spinning off a tackler and into the end zone on the two-point conversion to give the Warriors an 11-7 advantage.
The Chaparrals answered when running back Spencer Neumann scored the first of his three TDs on the night as Aubrey took the lead, 14-11.
Rodriguez put Bonham back on top, 18-14, when he scored from 13 yards out and Rhinehart hit the PAT.
Only 34 seconds later, Aubrey's Brody Bounds hauled in a 52-yard scoring strike to put the Chaparrals on top, 21-18.
Aubrey stretched its lead to 28-18 on a seven-yard touchdown run by Pablo Vera.
In the third quarter Neumann got loose for an 18-yard scoring scamper to give the Chaparrals a 35-18 lead.
Rodriguez got his third TD of the night on a 24-yard run to narrow the gap to 35-24.
Neumann followed with his third rushing touchdown of the game to give Aubrey a 42-24 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Bonham tacked on the final TD of the evening and Aubrey added a field goal as the Chaparrals moved to 2-0 in District 5-4A with a 45-31 win on the road.
