Fannin County, Texas -- Time is running out to get tickets and tables for the 13th annual "Justice Is Served" to benefit the Fannin County Children’s Center.  The dinner and auction event will start at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11 at the Multipurpose Complex in Bonham. 

This year’s theme is “An American Saturday Night.” Guests are encouraged to wear patriotic colors, as the event is on Veteran’s Day.   A buffet dinner prepared by Feast on This will be served up by local judges, police chiefs, prosecutors, lawmakers and other justice officials. 

Guests will enjoy a live jazz band while bidding on numerous items in the silent and live auctions.  Dr. Lee Schreiber has donated two special pieces that will appeal to Dallas Cowboy fans: a framed Cowboy jersey autographed by Troy Aikman and a framed photo of the Hail Mary Pass autographed by both Roger Staubach and Drew Pearson. 

Warrior Tire has donated an opportunity to drive a racecar around Texas Motor Speedway.  A preview list of auction items is posted on the center’s website and being updated regularly.

Proceeds from the event will help sustain a wide variety of programs and services for children.  CASA provides abused children a caring, concerned, trained volunteer to advocate for them while they are in foster care.  The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) provides a safe, child-friendly location to go to when abuse is suspected.  The CAC provides counseling, information, referrals and other support services to aide the healing process.  New to the CAC is the courthouse facility dog named Render, who enhances the services provided by the CAC professionals.
