Bonham -- Christmas Holiday Parade and Festival: Make your plans now to attend the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce 2017 Christmas Holiday Parade and Festival at the Courthouse Square in Bonham on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
In addition to our festive parade we will have some fantastic music by local groups, blow up slides, animal balloons, free craft stations for the kids, specialty shopping, and Santa will be on hand to help you make some great photo memories for the event. The square will be decorated with lights and many of the windows around the town will be painted with a holiday theme, thanks to the hard work of our Chamber Elves.
The event is free to the public and everyone is invited to attend. Or call us at 903-583-4811. Entries are due by November 14. Prizes: 1st - $750, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $250. Our judges will be: Mike Bankston, Mark Johnston and Randall McGee. Lollipops on the Square: technically, not a part of the Christmas parade, but definitely a part of Christmas in Bonham. You can have a new lollipop designed for $40 or if you have one have previous years, that can be put out for $25. Contact the Chamber or go online. We will continue to take lollipop orders until December 8th.
December 1: Two holiday events will happen on December 1. The Holiday Wine Stroll & Taste of Bonham will come to Bonham once again, find more information on the Chamber website. Photos with Santa Canned Food/Toy drive: Bring a nonperishable item or toy to the Bonham square and receive a free 5x7 picture with Santa! Provided by Bonham Chrysler.
