Reba Ruth Fox

Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Reba Ruth Fox, 83, of Telephone, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Telephone Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Bro. Brian Everett will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Reba Harris Fox entered into eternal life on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison following a brief illness.

Reba Ruth (Harris) Fox was born in Windom, Texas on September 16, 1934 to Jane and John Harris. She married the love of her life, Donald Fox, at Telephone Baptist Church on January 17, 1953, where she is currently a member.

Reba was a Christian, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was active in all her family’s life, her community and always a kind caretaker of all.

Reba retired from Enserch Corporation where she was Executive Secretary to the Secretary Treasurer. She was always active in her church and PTA.

She is survived by her husband, Don Fox of Telephone, TX, son, Michael Fox and daughter-in-law, Nelly Rivera-Fox of Lewisville, TX; daughter, Betsy Fox Kier and son-in-law, Jim Kier of New Port Richey, FL; granddaughter, Amanda Schmitz and husband Tanner Schmitz of Land O’Lakes, FL; grandson, Matt Kier of New Port Richey, FL; sisters, Dorothy Harris of Bonham, TX, Thelma Estes of McKinney, TX; Wanda Booth of Bells, TX; and two great granddaughters, Ainsley Schmitz and Amelia Schmitz of Land O’Lakes, FL.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jack McCraw, Lynn Gibbs, Larry Strickland, Mike McCommus, George Crunk and Carl Cox. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Reba’s Sunday school class.
