Abram Friesen, Sr.

Honey Grove, Texas - Funeral services for Abram Friesen, Sr., 64, of Sumner, Texas will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Light House Mission Church in Tigertown, Texas. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lamar County. Family visitation will be on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Light House Mission Church from 4:00-5:00 p.m. for family and visitation for friends after 5:00 p.m. Elder Addison Everret will officiate. Mr. Friesen passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at his residence.

Abram Friesen was born in Chihuahua Mexico on April 4, 1953 to Abram and Aganetha Friesen. Abram married Trudy Dyck on June 28, 1975 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Abram was a hard worker and worked at various occupations including farming, trailer manufacturing, and most recently equipment sales. He was a member of The Church of God.

He is survived by wife Trudy Friesen of Sumner, Tx children Lisa Dyck, Abe and Lisa Friesen, Danny and Sara Friesen, John and Anna Friesen, Peter and Jessica Friesen, Frank and Sara Friesen all of the Tigertown area along with 21 grandchildren. Also surviving him are siblings Corny Friesen of Seminole, Tx, John Friesen of Ontario, Canada, Frank Friesen of Ontario, Canada, and Elizabeth Riemer of Seminole, Tx. He will be greatly missed by all.

Serving as pallbearers will be Abe Friesen JR, Danny Friesen, John Friesen, Peter Friesen, Frank Friesen.
