REGULAR MEETING

REGULAR MEETING AGENDA
Call to Order
1. Consider and take action to approve minutes of the October 9th regular meeting and the October 23rd special meeting.
2. Consider and take action to accept financial report for month ending October 31, 2017.
3. Citizens Opportunity to Speak: [The City Council invites persons with comments or observations to briefly address the Council for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter should be referred to staff for study and response and/or be placed on a future meeting agenda. State law prohibits the City Council from considering deliberations on any item not listed on the posted City Council Agenda.]
4. Recess into closed executive session for deliberations about real property as permitted by Texas Government Code §551.072.
5. Reconvene in open public session and consider and take action, if necessary, on matter of discussion during closed executive session.
6. Receive collection report from Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP.
7. Presentation by Hilltop Securities Inc., financial advisor to the City, regarding steps, processes and responsibilities for the financing of a proposed Streets, Water and Wastewater Capital Improvement Program.
8. Consider and take action on a resolution regarding a financing agreement for the purpose of procuring equipment and technology.
9. Consider and take action on a resolution to cast votes for candidates to the 2018-2019 Board of Directors of the Fannin Central Appraisal District.
10. Hold public hearing and consider and take action on an ordinance affecting participation of city employees in the Texas Municipal Retirement System granting eligibility for retirement at 20 years of service.
11. Consider and take action to reject all bids for professional auditing services.
12. Consider and take action to ratify the action of the BEDCo Board accepting a proposal from Aerial Focus and approving an amendment to BEDCo’s FY 2017-2018 Operating Budget.
13. Consider and take action to ratify the BEDCo Board’s authorization to provide “reimbursable funding” of professional engineering services necessary in the preparation of a TWDB application.
14. Adjourn
