Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Ruben Carreno Medina, 57, of Leonard, Texas will start at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Good Hope Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas. Rev. Jerome Knox will officiate. Interment will follow at the Pecan Grove Cemetery. Mr. Medina passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Ruben Carreno Medina was born in Big Spring, Texas on October 2, 1960 to a Juan F. Medina and Eugenia Carreno. He married Rebecca Medina on March 3, 2006 in McKinney, Texas. He worked as a self-employed mechanic.

Left to cherish his memories is wife, Rebecca Medina of the home; children, Ruben Medina Jr., Ismael Medina, Raymundo Medina, Vanessa Medina; sibling, Irene Medina, Juanita Vela, Maria Luisa Gonzalez, Elida Medina, Gloria Alvear, and Mario Medina Reynaldo Medina, as well as several grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ruben Medina Jr., Ismael Medina, Raymundo Medina, Elias Vela, Ricardo Alvear, Roberto Vasquez, Raymundo Medina Jr., and Jose Luis Medina.
