Pottsboro -- Journey back to biblical times and experience the outdoor audio visual production that is sure to bring you into the Christmas spirit!

The "Nativity Live" will be held Thursday, Friday & Saturday December 7-9 & 14-16 at Georgetown Baptist Church located at 207 Georgetown Road in Pottsboro.

Each night there will be six opportunities for you to journey with Mary and Joseph from the "Inn" to the "manger."

You can register for your “Journey” time at www.nativitylive.com. The first “Journey” will begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue every 20 minutes.

"The Market"

After arriving at Georgetown you will check in with the Bethlehem census takers who will direct you to the city market area where you will have the opportunity to see life as it might have been in 1st century Bethlehem. There you will find a blacksmith, candlemakers, basketweavers and much more.

"The Journey"

Your Journey” will begin as you proceed to the Bethlehem Inn and sense the emotions of that first Christmas night when Mary and Joseph were desperate to find lodging but to no avail.  As you follow the tired couple to the manger you will encounter various players in the Christmas story, namely Herod, the shepherds and the wise men, and of course baby Jesus.  After your outdoor experience, you will be escorted, by Bethlehem guides, to the Chapel where you will enjoy a short Christmas drama.

"This was the highlight of our Christmas festivities last year! My children talked about it much longer than they talked about seeing Santa...and I love that! We're bringing out-of-town family along this year. Thank you for all that you do to be a shining light of truth at Christmas!" - Attendee from Sherman, Texas
