Dodd City -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets moved to 2-0 in District 22-1A and 25-1 on the year with an 82-point win over the Lady Eagles of Irving Universal Academy.

 The Lady Eagles scored on the game's first basket on a breakaway, but Dodd City put together a 28-3 run to take control. The Lady Hornets poured in 35 points in the first quarter and never looked back in a 94-12 victory.

Dodd City senior Paige Granstaff scored a game-high 33 points, Abby Weeks put up 22 points, Journie Hilliard scored 16, Marissa Mills and Delaney Pilliod both had six points, Dani Baccus finished with five points, Sarah Brent scored four and Cassandra Woodlee had two points.
