Savoy -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets scored 47 points in the opening period of an 85-2 district win over the Savoy Lady Cardinals.

Dodd City senior Paige Granstaff scored a game-high 33 points and Abby Weeks, the Lady Hornets' junior point guard, put up 20 points. Dani Baccus knocked down nine points, Journie Hilliard had eight points, Delaney Pilliod pitched in seven points, Marissa Mills scored six and Cassandra Woodlee contributed two points.

With the victory, the Dodd City Lady Hornets move to 26-1 on the season.
