Gainesville -- Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Cooke, Grayson and Montague Counties invite you to attend our annual Tri-County Farmer and Rancher Symposium on Thursday, February 22 at the Gainesville Civic Center, 311 S Weaver in Gainesville, Texas.
Registration will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. with the program beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m. We have some great speakers lined up with a wide range of topics from Top 10 Pest that affect home value, internal & external pest control for livestock, Brush & Fence row control and treatment options, Pesticide Laws & Regulations update and review with an explanation on Dicamba regulations issue and an Auxin Specific Training & Certification for those using herbicides containing the chemical, Dicamba.
A great meal will be catered by Joanie Wyrick and the profit from the event as always goes to fund Ag Scholarships for our counties youth. There will be 5 CEU’s offered that are TDA approved.
The cost of the Symposium and accompanying meal is $30. Pre-registration is required.
