Commerce -- The Honey Grove Lady Warriors have advanced to the area round with a 24-point win over Quinlan Boles in a bi-district contest played Monday night at Commerce High School.

This one was over in a hurry as Honey Grove raced out to a 19-1 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in a 46-22 victory.

Honey Grove point guard Diavian Shaw led all scorers with 22 points, Isabella Morrison put up eight points, Demetria Pruitt and Makiyah Johnson both scored six, while Bree Cason and
Alexandra Morrison each had two points.

Abby Helmberger led Boles with 13 points, Charlea Helmberger finished with five points, Lauren Hicks had three points and Hannah Pearson hit a free throw.

The Honey Grove Lady Warriors will take on the winner of Hawkins/McCleod in the area round.
