 March 24, 2018, Fannin County Master Gardeners 2018 Garden, Lawn & Home Expo

Fannin County, Texas -- Saturday, March 24, 2018, the Fannin County Master Gardeners will hold their annual Garden, Lawn & Home Expo at Bonham Civic Center (Trades Day/Armory Building) 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The public is invited to attend this event free of charge.  Door prizes will be given and a silent auction will be held.

A few vendor booth spaces are still available.  Fee for a booth space is $50.   If you would like to set up a booth to sell your product you may pick up a vendor application at the Fannin County Extension office or call Alice for more information at 903 583-4986.

Presentations will be given beginning at 9:00 a.m. with Michael Cook, Denton County Viticulture Specialist, “Growing Grapes in North Texas.” At 11:00 a.m. Steve Chamblee, Chandor Gardens, presents “Texas Tough 50” (Plants) and 1:00 p.m. he will present “Great Garden Ideas.”  At 2:00 p.m. Blake Shook, Desert Creek Honey and Texas Bee Supply, will present “Hobby Beekeeping.”  All of the speakers are well known and respected for their knowledge and interesting, informative talks.   Each presentation will offer 1 CEU for Master Gardeners
