Central

Arcadia: March 30. Elevation normal, water 60 and clearing. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits and sassy shad along flats and points. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs along riprap and rocks. Channel and blue catfish good on shad around points. Report submitted by Mark Murray, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.

Draper: March 30. Elevation below normal, water 61 and stained. Crappie good on minnows and jigs along shallows and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad at the inlet and around points. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and jerk baits around points and shorelines. Hefner: April 3. Elevation normal, water 54 and murky. Walleye good to excellent on lipless baits, gay blades and jerk baits along shorelines. Crappie good on minnows and jigs off the docks and dam. Largemouth bass good on jigs, crankbaits and spinnerbaits along shorelines. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait off the dam. Report submitted by Lucky Lure Tackle.

Thunderbird: March 30. Elevation above normal, water 62 and stained. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and jerk baits in coves and along shorelines. Crappie good on minnows and jigs in coves, shallows and shorelines. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad around points and river channel. Wes Watkins: March 28. Elevation below normal, water 62 and clearing. Largemouth bass slow on spinnerbaits around brush structure and shallows. White bass fair on sassy shad and small lures along the dam and riprap. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure and standing timber. Northeast

Bell Cow: April 1. Elevation normal, water 63 and muddy. White bass fair on minnows and spinnerbaits along riprap and boat ramps. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around docks and shorelines. Channel catfish fair on minnows and worms along shorelines. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.

Birch: March 30. Elevation above normal, water 54 and murky. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around brush structure, in coves, docks and shorelines. Largemouth and striped bass hybrids slow on bill baits, crankbaits and spinnerbaits in coves, docks, shorelines and standing timber. Carl Blackwell: March 31. Elevation below normal, water 54 and murky. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs in coves and crappie dock. White bass slow on minnows, plastic baits and PowerBait in coves and along shorelines. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait, punch bait and worms around points and along shorelines. Chandler: April 1. Elevation above normal, water 59 and murky. Crappie slow on jigs around docks. Largemouth bass slow on plastic baits, sassy shad and swim baits around brush structure and creek channels. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.

Copan: March 31. Elevation normal, water clearing. Crappie and white bass fair on hair jigs and tube jigs along creek channels, docks and standing timber. Channel and blue catfish fair on worms along shorelines. Report submitted by Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.

Eucha: March 30. Elevation above normal, water high 50s and muddy. Largemouth bass slow on crankbaits, spinnerbaits and finesse jigs in coves, around points, riprap and shallows. Crappie slow on hair jigs and tube jigs around brush structure, dam, deep bluffs, discharge and main lake. White bass fair on hair jigs, plastic baits and sassy shad along creek channels and discharge. Before the rain white bass were beginning to run in the discharge water and the crappie and largemouth bass bite was picking up. Expect a slower bite now but it should improve as the week goes. Grand: April 2. Elevation above normal, water 55 and stained. White bass excellent on jigs, plastic baits and sassy shad below the dam and river channel. Crappie good on minnows, jigs and plastic baits around brush structure, docks and shallows. Blue catfish good on shad and squid along creek channels, main lake and river channel. Paddlefish good near Twin Bridges and below the dam. Report submitted by Marni Loftis, game warden stationed in Delaware County.

Hudson: March 29. Elevation above normal, water low 50s and muddy. Paddlefish good at low water dam. White bass fair on crankbaits and jigs below the dam and along creek channels. Largemouth bass slow on crankbaits, jigs and spinnerbaits in coves and around points. Report submitted by Cody Morris, game warden stationed in Delaware County.

Hulah: March 31. Elevation normal, water clearing. White bass and crappie good on hair jigs, jigs and tube jigs along creek channels. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait and worms along shorelines. Report submitted by Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.

Kaw: April 3. Elevation normal, water 53 and stained. White bass fair on jigs, in-line spinnerbaits and sassy shad along creek channels and river channel. Blue catfish fair on cut bait, minnows and shad along flats, main lake and river channel. Crappie fair on minnows, jigs and tube jigs around brush structure, creek channels, docks and riprap. Paddlefish slow below the dam due to limited water releases. Report submitted by Tracy Daniel, District 8 Chief.

Keystone: March 29. Elevation normal, water 63. Blue catfish good on cut bait below the dam. Report submitted by Karlin Bailey, game warden stationed in Creek County.

Lower Illinois: March 30. Elevation above normal, water 55 and murky. Trout slow on PowerBait below the dam. Fishing slow due to high water releases. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

McMurtry: April 2. Elevation normal, water 55 and semi-clear. Crappie good on worms and crappie nibbles below 15 ft. around docks, brush piles and north bridge. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastic worms and spinnerbaits in brush along shorelines morning and afternoon. Channel catfish fair on worms, shad and dough bait on bottom around docks, island and rocky structures. Saueye fair on crankbaits and worms along sandbars and rocky points morning and night. Oologah: March 30. Elevation above normal, water 50 and murky. White bass fair on crankbaits and jigs along the Verdigris River above the lake. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 8-15 ft. around brush piles. Blue catfish fair on juglines baited with cut bait and shad at 15-25 ft. along flats. Skiatook: March 30. Elevation normal, water 50s and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits in the main lake and around points. White bass fair on white in-line spinnerbaits, jigs and sassy shad along creek channels. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-20 ft. around brush structure. Sooner: April 3. Elevation below normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits along shorelines. Striped bass hybrids and striped bass slow on live shad and slabs in the main lake. Report submitted by Doug Gottschalk, game warden stationed in Noble County.

Spavinaw: March 30. Elevation above normal, water high 50s and muddy. Largemouth bass fair on square billed crankbaits, finesse jigs and spinnerbaits in coves, around docks, points and shallows. Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, dam, discharge and docks. Walleye and white bass slow on hair jigs, plastic baits and worms along dam, discharge, points and riprap. Due to the rain the bite in the discharge water within the state park will slow down until the water calms down. After that expect crappie, walleye, and largemouth bass to bite good again. Tenkiller: March 30. Elevation above normal, water murky. White bass, crappie, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, hair jigs, sassy shad and small lures along creek channels. Due to recent flooding on the Illinois River, the lake has jumped from normal to 8 ft. above normal. Water temperature and conditions are right for white bass to spawn, but fishing conditions in the river are prohibitive due to flooding. HOWEVER: Clear feeder creeks flowing into the lake have drawn white bass in to alternative spawning grounds. If you are going to fish Tenkiller this week for white bass you might try these sites throughout the main lake. All other fishing is slow unless you can find clear water in the lower end of the main lake. Report submitted by Brady May, game warden stationed in Cherokee County.

Northwest

Canton: March 30. Elevation normal, water 54 and clear. Walleye good on crankbaits and jigs along the dam and riprap. White bass fair on jigs and lipless baits along the river channel above the lake. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

Ft. Supply: April 2. Elevation normal. Walleye slow on minnows and jigs in the main lake. With the constant changing weather pattern here lately it’s difficult to predict with an accuracy what will biting from one day to the next. Fishing at Supply is typically better when the wind is out of the SW. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.

Southeast

Arbuckle: April 1. Elevation above normal, water 61 and cloudy. Largemouth bass good on worm, tube or jig at 8-10 ft. off the bank; they are trying to spawn. Smallmouth bass being caught on spinnerbaits, crankbaits and jerk baits off rocky banks. Crappie being caught on small jigs in coves and on minnows and jigs off docks. White bass being caught on spinnerbaits and rattletraps up creeks. Channel catfish good on dead minnows and dough bait where fresh water is coming in. Muddy water is making fishing tough. Blue River: April 2. Elevation above normal, water 50 and murky. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, punch bait and stinkbait around brush structure, points and rocks. Report submitted by Matt Gamble, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

Broken Bow: March 30. Elevation above normal, water 60. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on flukes, grubs and spinnerbaits around points and shorelines. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs and tube jigs along flats, points, shorelines and weed beds. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Eufaula: March 31. Elevation above normal, water murky. Blue catfish excellent on hot dogs and worms along creek channels, river channel and river mouth. Crappie good on jigs along creek channels, rocks and shallows. Striped bass fair on jigs, live bait, live shad, small lures and topwater lures below the dam and along the dam. Hugo: March 30. Elevation above normal, water 55 and murky. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits and plastic baits along creek channels, points and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and live shad below the dam, along flats, main lake and river channel. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs below the dam, around brush structure and standing timber. Report submitted by Jim Gillham, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.

Konawa: March 29. Elevation above normal, water 60 and muddy. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits and rattletraps in the main lake, around points, shorelines and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, live shad and spoons in coves, the main lake, around points and river channel. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait and stinkbait in coves, creek channels, riprap and weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

Lower Mountain Fork: March 30. Elevation above normal, water clear. Trout good on caddis flies, PowerBait and tube jigs along creek channels. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

McGee Creek: March 30. Elevation rising, water 50 and stained. Crappie, spotted bass and white bass fair on minnows around brush structure, creek channels and standing timber. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits and flukes along creek channels, points, riprap and standing timber. Pine Creek: March 30. Elevation above normal, water clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits around points. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around brush structure. Robert S. Kerr: March 31. Elevation normal, water murky. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs and minnows around brush structure, river channel, river mouth, shorelines and standing timber. White bass good on Alabama rigs, grubs, jigs, lipless baits and small lures along channels, creek channels and river channel. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, grubs, jigs, lipless baits and plastic baits around brush structure, channels, in coves, creek channels, points and shorelines. Sardis: March 30. Elevation above normal, water 62. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, jigs, plastic baits, sassy shad and tube jigs around brush structure, points, shorelines and weed beds. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait, live shad and shad in the main lake, around points and shorelines. Texoma: March 30. Elevation normal, water 58 and stained. Blue catfish good on cut bait, live bait, live shad and shad below the dam, along channels, creek channels, points and river mouth. Crappie good on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, live bait and tube jigs at 15 ft. around brush structure, docks, rocks and standing timber. Striped and white bass good on Alabama rigs, live bait, live shad and sassy shad along channels, main lake, points, river channel and river mouth. Wister: March 30. Elevation rising, water 61 and cloudy. Largemouth bass good on bill baits and plastic baits around brush structure and channels. Blue catfish good on cut bait, punch bait and shad along channels and main lake. Crappie good on minnows and jigs below the dam, along brush structure, shallows and shorelines. Ellsworth: March 30. Elevation above normal, water murky. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around brush structure and docks.
