 Central

Arcadia: April 6. Elevation normal, water 58 and stained. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits and chatter baits along flats, standing timber and weed beds. White bass fair on in-line spinnerbaits along the dam and rocks. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure, docks and riprap. Draper: April 8. Elevation below normal, water 55 and stained. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along flats, standing timber and weed beds. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure and riprap. White bass good on jigs and sassy shad at the inlet and along riprap.  Hefner: April 10. Elevation normal, water 52 and murky. Crappie good on minnows and jigs from the dock and along riprap. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits and spinnerbaits along shorelines. Walleye fair on jerk baits and lipless baits along the shoreline. Channel catfish fair to good on cut baits off the dam. Reports submitted by Lucky Lure Tackle.

Thunderbird: April 8. Elevation above normal, water 55 and stained. White bass and saugeye fair on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs and plastic baits along the dam and riprap. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along flats and standing timber. Wes Watkins: April 4. Elevation below normal, water 63 and clearing. Largemouth bass slow on lipless baits and spinnerbaits at 6-7 ft. around points and shorelines. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure and standing timber. Report submitted by Mike France, game warden stationed in Pottawatomie County.

Northeast

Birch: April 6. Elevation below normal, water 50 and clear. Crappie, bluegill and green sunfish slow on minnows and jigs in coves, around docks and shorelines. Both Birch Cove and Twin Coves are open but only talked to a couple of anglers and they were just catching a couple crappie and sunfish with the cold weather. Carl Blackwell: April 8. Elevation below normal, water 51 and murky. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs along shorelines and crappie dock. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver and worms around points and shorelines. Due to changing weather, fishing success has been erratic. Water temperature has dropped as well and is a contributing factor. Report submitted by Emily Long, game warden stationed in Payne County.

Copan: April 8. Elevation normal, water clearing. Crappie fair on jigs and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Channel and blue catfish slow on cut bait and worms along shorelines. Report submitted by Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.

Eucha: April 6. Elevation above normal, water mid-50s and stained. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs and spinnerbaits in coves, around points, riprap and shallows. White bass slow on hair jigs, plastic baits and sassy shad along creek channels, dam and discharge. Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, dam and discharge. Ft. Gibson: April 5. Elevation above normal, water 58 and stained. Paddlefish excellent snagging below the low water dam, main dam and river channel. White bass slow on grubs, jigs, live shad and tube jigs along creek channels, river channel and Pryor Creek area. Blue and flathead catfish good on goldfish, live shad and sunfish along creek channels, main lake and river channel. Report submitted by Rick Stafford, Wagoner.

Greenleaf: April 6. Elevation above normal, water 57 and murky. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, plastic baits and spinnerbaits around brush structure, in coves, creek channels, points and standing timber. Crappie fair on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows and tube jigs at 8-12 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Flathead, channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait, live shad and shad drifting on bottom along creek channels, flats and river channel. Hulah: April 8. Elevation normal, water clearing. Channel and blue catfish slow on cut bait, shad and worms along shorelines. Crappie fair on tube jigs and hair jigs around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.

Kaw: April 10. Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 50 and stained.  The Coon Creek and Washunga Bay boat ramps are unavailable for boat launching. The Washunga Bay campground is closed for water line repairs. Blue catfish good on cut bait and shad at 17-23 ft. along creek channels and river channel. Crappie good on orange/chartreuse and blue/chartreuse hair jigs, jigs and minnows at 12-16 ft. around docks and riprap. White bass slow on jigs, sassy shad and small lures along the river channel. Keystone: April 5. Elevation normal, water 64. Blue catfish good on cut bait below the dam. Crappie fair on minnows around docks. Report submitted by Karlin Bailey, game warden stationed in Creek County.

Lower Illinois: April 6. Elevation above normal, water 52 and stained. Trout slow on PowerBait below the dam. White bass fair on minnows and small lures below the dam. High water releases has made fishing difficult. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

Skiatook: April 7. Elevation normal, water 50s and clear. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs at 10-20 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Fishing activity was extremely slow this week due to the weather. Report submitted by Paul Welch, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Sooner: April 10. Elevation above normal, water murky. Striped bass and striped bass hybrids fair on live shad and slabs in the main lake. Blue catfish fair on cut bait in channels. Report submitted by Doug Gottschalk, game warden stationed in Noble County.

Spavinaw: April 6. Elevation above normal, water mid-50s and stained. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jigs and spinnerbaits in coves, around points, riprap and shallows. Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, dam, discharge and docks. Walleye and white bass slow on hair jigs, plastic baits and worms along the dam, discharge, riprap and rocks. Report submitted by Cody Morris, game warden stationed in Delaware County.

Webbers Falls: April 6. Elevation above normal, water 57 and murky. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, hair jigs, in-line spinnerbaits and jerk baits around brush structure, channels, in coves, creek channels, docks, shorelines and standing timber. Crappie slow on hair jigs, jigs and tube jigs at 8-12 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Northwest

Canton: April 6. Elevation normal, water 56 and clear. Walleye fair on crankbaits and jigs along riprap. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

Ft. Supply: April 10. Elevation normal, water clear. Walleye fair on minnows and jigs in the main lake. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.

Foss: April 10. Elevation 3/4 ft. below normal, water mid-50s and clear. White bass running up the river.  Walleye good on live bait along the dam. Striped bass hybrids slow on live bait. Catfish slow to fair with cut bait along the north side. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B & K Bait House.

Southeast

Arbuckle: April 7. Elevation normal, water 58-62 and stained to muddy up creeks. Largemouth bass being caught on crankbaits, tubes, worms and bass jigs along banks. Smallmouth bass being caught on jerk baits, spinnerbaits and swim baits. Crappie good  off docks and on minnows and jigs in back of coves. White bass being caught on rattletraps and grubs at 15 ft. up on flats during the heat of the day. Report submitted by Jack Melton.

Broken Bow: April 6. Elevation below normal, water 54. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits and spinnerbaits around points, shorelines and standing timber. Eufaula: April 6. Elevation above normal, water turbid. Blue and channel catfish good on crawfish, cut bait and worms along creek channels, main lake and river mouth. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs along creek channels, rocks, shallows and shorelines. Striped bass good on live bait, live shad, small lures, topwater lures and tube jigs below the dam. Hugo: April 6. Elevation above normal, water 55 and murky. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, crankbaits and plastic baits along creek channels, main lake and points. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and shad below the dam, along channels and flats. Crappie good on minnows and jigs below the dam, around brush structure and standing timber. Konawa: April 5. Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jigs, rattletraps and plastic baits in the main lake, around points and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, live shad and spoons in coves, discharge, main lake and river channel. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait and stinkbait in coves, creek channels, discharge and riprap. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

Lower Mountain Fork: April 6. Elevation above normal, water clear. Brown trout excellent on jigs and PowerBait along creek channels. McGee Creek: April 6. Elevation above normal, water 55 and clear. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on buzz baits, flukes and lipless baits in coves, around points and standing timber. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver and dough bait along creek channels and river mouth. Crappie, spotted bass and white bass good on minnows around brush structure, docks and standing timber. Pine Creek: April 6. Elevation above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass excellent on crankbaits, jerk baits and plastic baits around points. Crappie good on minnows and jigs along creek channels, points and standing timber. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver along creek channels. Robert S. Kerr: April 6. Elevation normal, water murky. Largemouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, plastic baits and small lures around brush structure, channels, in coves, around points and shorelines. Crappie fair on minnows, hair jigs and jigs along channels, creek channels, river channel and river mouth. Sardis: April 7. Elevation rising, water 60. Largemouth and striped bass fair on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits and tube jigs around brush structure, points, riprap, rocks, shorelines, standing timber and weed beds. Blue, channel and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, minnows, shad and sunfish along channels, flats, main lake and shorelines. Texoma: April 6. Elevation normal, water 58 and stained. Striped bass good on live shad along creek channels, points, river channel and river mouth. Crappie fair on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, creek channels and standing timber. White bass good on Alabama rigs, flukes, grubs, hair jigs, jigs, sassy shad, small lures and tube jigs along channels, in coves, creek channels, dam, discharge, river channel and river mouth. Recent weather changes has made fishing inconsistent, crappie are beginning to move into shallow water for spawn. Striper are steady on live bait near the Washita Point area. Wister: April 6. Elevation rising, water cloudy. Largemouth bass good on bill baits and plastic baits around brush structure, channels and shorelines.
