The Fannin County Republican Party and the Fannin County Republican Women's club would like to announce that they are now receiving applications for their 2018 Patriot Scholarships.  There will be three (3) scholarships awarded the evening of June 4th during the joint meeting of the Fannin County Republican Party and Republican Women’s meeting.

Two scholarships will be awarded by the Fannin County Republican Party recognizing Fannin County students who best exemplify patriotism, civic dedication, volunteering and good works toward their fellow citizens.  Consideration may be given to an applicant relating his or her experiences in overcoming obstacles or how their choice of a course of study will be of benefit to their community.  There must be at least three letters of recommendation with a 300 hundred word essay on "A Patriot in Today’s World."

A third scholarship will be provided by the Fannin County Republican Women, PAC.  They will select a young woman based on the same characteristics.  This one application package will allow for an opportunity for Fannin County female students to possibly receive funds to further their education.
