Honey Grove, Texas – Services for Sharon Jean (Gaither) Briscoe, 54, of Petty, Texas will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Honey Grove, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018.  Rev. Jerry Clement will officiate. Sharon passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her home in Petty, Texas.

Sharon Jean (Gaither) Briscoe was born in Paris, Texas on March 1, 1964 to father, Cleo E. Gaither and mother, Loretta Carol (Wilson) Gaither. Sharon worked as a factory worker manufacturing mobile homes.

She is survived by daughters, Rachel Briscoe of Grapevine, TX; Mandy Briscoe of Grapevine, TX; mother, Carol Gaither of Honey Grove, TX; sister, Carolyn Franklin and husband Ellsworth of Brookston, TX; brothers, Ray Gaither of Honey Grove, TX; Dale Gaither of Petty, TX; niece, Ashley Gaither; nephew, Jessie Gaither. Preceded in death by father, Cleo Gaither and nephew, Gage Franklin.
