Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Caleb Hunter Stevens, 18, of Ivanhoe, Texas will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Elwood Baptist Church. Bro. Don Cofer will officiate. Interment will follow at Elwood Cemetery. Caleb passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center Bonham Hospital.

Caleb Hunter Stevens was born in Sherman, Texas on January 5, 2000 to Barry Stevens and Stephanie (Reed) Stevens. He attended Sam Rayburn High School and would have received his diploma on May 25, 2018. Caleb worked cattle and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger and he loved his friends. Caleb enjoyed life to the fullest and was always the life of the party.  “RSSA, we’re beautiful,” as he would say. Those that knew him loved him and those that didn’t would have. He will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memories are mother, Stephanie (Reed) Stevens and William Chesser of Ivanhoe, TX; father, Barry Stevens and wife Aimee of Ravenna, TX; sisters, Lexi Danielle Stevens of Ivanhoe, TX; Kodi Alexandria Chesser of Ivanhoe, TX; Layton Brooke Chesser of Ivanhoe, TX; Hanna Grace White of Ravenna, TX; maternal grandparents, Steven Edward Reed and wife Michelle of Bonham, TX; and Debra Kay Naylor and husband Ronny of Telephone, TX; paternal grandmother, Darlene Stevens of Bonham, TX; great grandmother, Marie Reed of Bonham, TX; great grandmother, Anette White of Ivanhoe, TX; uncle, Cody Reed and wife Jamie of Ivanhoe, TX; uncle, Roy Reed and wife Claydean of Elwood, TX; uncle, Floyd Stevens and wife Cindy of Yuba, OK; uncle, Danny Stevens and wife Ranee Byres of Luella, TX; uncle, Carey Stevens and wife Stephanie of Whitewright, TX; aunt, Chrystal Quinn and husband Dusty of Telephone, TX; aunt, Amy Norwood and husband Clint of Paris, TX; aunt, Linda Burleson of Bonham, TX; along with numerous other extended family members.
 
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ernest Stevens, and aunt, Patricia Coleman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Len Reimer, Leonard Corky Reimer, Sawyer Wesley Hilliard, Jarrett Wayne Prock, Hayden Blayne Graham, Joe Coleman Hopkins, and Forest Ray Gibbs.

Family visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Bonham, TX from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
