Invasive species are species non-native to the local ecosystem, whose introduction can harm humans & the environment and impact our economy. They are a significant threat to almost half of the native U.S. species currently listed as endangered. 

The best way to stop invasive species is to quickly identify and report them before they are well established.

The Bois d'Arc Chapter of Master Naturalists will be hosting a free Invasive Species Training on June 16. There is no charge for the workshop, but space is limited and registration is required.  Lunch will not be provided. To register, visit www.texasinvasives.org/invaders/workshop_results.php.
