McKinney, Texas -- Kenneth Ray Robbins passed away suddenly on the morning of May 25, 2018 at a young age of 52. He was born to Johnny Ray Robbins and Fairy Mae Jones Robbins on May 16, 1966 in McKinney, Texas. He married the love of his life Lisa Goforth on May 23, 1987. They made their home on the Robbins Family Farm just outside McKinney. Kenneth is survived by his wife Lisa, daughter Courtney and husband John Armstrong, Sons Chad and Brent Robbins, grandchildren Julie, Elizabeth, and Ian Armstrong, Madision and Katie Robbins, and Winter George, brothers Johnny L. and wife Penny Robbins of McKinney and James and wife Brenda Gibson of Texas City. Kenneth was preceded in death by father and mother, sister Norma Jean, Brother Jimmy Gibson.

Kenneth was a hard worker and providing for his family was very important to him. He spent most of his life as a diesel mechanic. He loved his horses and his special dog companions but most of all he loved his family. Spending time with his grandkids always brought a smile to his face. Kenneth was especially proud of his youngest son Brent who choose to follow his daddy’s footsteps to also be a diesel mechanic. Kenneth was close to his big brother Johnny and often called on him for advice. We will all miss him very much and a huge void is in our hearts but we also know it’s not goodbye but see you later. He is in the presence of our Lord and home with dad and mom.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at the funeral home.
