Gary was preceded in death by his father.

Gary is survived by his wife, Joanne Burnham, mother, Betty Jane Barone, children, Danette Wilds, Joseph Burnham, Cheryl Sun, Kristina Burnham and Timur Burnham. He is also survived by two granddaughters and two grandsons.

Gary had left the church for many years but felt called to return. Upon his return he put his heart and soul into his faith and became deeply religious which included daily mass and rosary. He lived his life to the fullest with a deep devotion for his wife and the Catholic Church. He was a very loving and giving man and a gifted musician who frequently shared this gift with his faith community.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 Spence Road in Van Alstyne, Texas.

Family night will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, Texas with Rosary service starting at 6:30 p.m.
