The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce is highlighting The Carleton House Bed and Breakfast as one of our longtime business members. Owners Karen & Steve Halbrook moved to Bonham in 1994 to restore this National Register Home and open the Carleton House Bed & Breakfast in April of 1996 and have been proud Members of the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce since then.

With the need for additional rooms, they restored an Historic Home on W.10th St. that is used as lodging for business guests, B&B guests with children, and those who need handicapped accessible lodging. Other restorations include the Willow St. Cottage, and the Carriage House for Party Rentals and Scrapbooking Retreats. In addition to lodging, other services of the Bed & Breakfast include Candlelight Dinners and Special Holiday Events with Live Music, Weddings, Showers, Retreats, Concerts and Parties.

Steve is a Circuit Board Designer, Musician, Graphic Designer and assists with the Bed & Breakfast on many levels. He enjoys Radio and Clock repair, as well as keeping up the historic homes and the Model A car used to give historic tours of Bonham to the B&B guests.

Karen is a Licensed Event Planner, Photographer, Graphic Designer, Artist, Cake Decorator, Cook, Seamstress, Licensed Masseuse and Gardener, all which benefit running the Bed & Breakfasts, hosting Weddings, Showers and Special Events.

Located just off the square at 803 N. Main they are easy to get to or CALL TO BOOK YOUR NEXT FUN EVENT at 903-583-2779 or visit their website at:  www.carletonhouse.com
