1. Call to Order
2. Review and approve the “final cut” of the BEDCO funded Intro to Bonham ~ Industrial Recruitment video
3. Consider and take action to approve the June 18, 2018 Minutes of the Regular meeting of the Bonham Economic Development Corporation (BEDCO) Board of Directors.
4. Consider and take action to accept the financial report for the month of June
5. Citizens Opportunity to Speak: [The Board of Directors of the Bonham Economic Development Corporation invites persons with comments or observations to briefly address the Board for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter should be referred to staff for study and response and/or be placed on a future meeting agenda. Local practice limits comments to three (3) minutes or less .State law prohibits the Board of Directors from considering deliberations on any item not listed on the posted Board of Directors Agenda.]
6. Presentation by Councilman Rodrigues on community efforts to raise funds for a splash pad to be installed and placed in operation at Powder Creek Park, and possible guidance to staff.
7. Review, discuss, consider and act to recommend to the Bonham City Council nominees for appointment or re-appointment, each to serve on the BEDCO Board of Directors for terms of two (2) years.
8. Executive Director’s Update,: Topics include but may not be limited to: Planned participation in the 2018 Sunbelt Builders Show Aug 8-9, recap July social media workshop, staff comments on the 2018 Rural Texas Challenge, mandatory staff training and other projects/prospects of interest, etc.
9. RECESS INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION: BEDCO Board of Directors shall convene into a closed executive session pursuant to Section 551.087(2) of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect.
10. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION: Any action as a result of executive session related to the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect.
