Honey Grove, Texas -- Graveside services for William Chester Smith, 78, of Windom, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Gum Springs Cemetery. Rev. Terry Paul Cunningham will officiate. Mr. Smith passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center in Bonham, Texas.

William Chester Smith was born in Carson, Texas on February 20, 1940 to Henry and Hazle (Clark) Smith. William worked as a City Employee before retiring. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by son, Curtis Smith and wife Jennifer of Bonham, TX; daughter, Becky Crouch of Parker, TX; grandchildren, Josh Smith, Madelyn Smith, Kagen Crouch, and Keaton Crouch; sisters, Christine Smith, Helen Hankins, and Mattie Todd; brothers, James Smith, Owen Smith, and Doc Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister and Rita Smith.
