Sherman, Texas -- The Sherman Museum in Sherman, Texas is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to provide leadership in fulfilling the Museum’s mission and purposes by directing and coordinating activities of the Museum. Part-time position (30 hours/week) is responsible for administering and performing day-to-day operations of the museum encompassing collections, exhibits, programs, communications, personnel, property management, record keeping and fundraising.

The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree (a master’s degree is a plus) in History/Museum Studies; Business/ Management or other degree approved by the Board; preferred with Museum related management experience. The ideal candidate must have excellent written and public speaking skills, the ability to work independently and enthusiasm for working with the public and community.
