Raw Water Pipeline
Installation on the pipeline to move raw water from Bois d’Arc Lake to the new treatment plant in Leonard is underway. Miles of 90-inch pipe stretch end to end in Fannin County.
Each piece of pipe is 50-feet long and weighs around 25,000 pounds.
Raw Water Pump Station Discharge Pipe
Crews at the Raw Water Pump Station at the Bois d’Arc Lake dam site install the discharge piping, which will carry the water from the pump station and send it down the pipeline to the treatment plant in Leonard.
FM 897 Bridge Concrete Deck Form Pour
The first section of the driving surface for the FM 897 bridge is complete.
Crews poured the first three sections of the cast-in-place concrete deck form on top of the deck panels that were previously installed.
Raw Water Intake Tower to Pump Station
The two 78-inch conduit pipes move closer to connecting with the Raw Water Pump Station. When completed, the Raw Water Intake Structure, under construction in the foreground, will draw water from Bois d’Arc Lake and send it to the Raw Water Pump Station, under construction in the background, before the water is sent to the treatment plant in Leonard.
