Fannin County, Texas – The Lake Fannin Volunteers had three main goals for this year. First was to clear the dam of vegetation, second was to fix the main road, and third was to clean around the building on the historic grounds.
As of today, the vegetation on the back of the dam has been cleared, and some of the face has been cleared too. Thanks to North Texas Land and Construction LLC for doing a fine job on the clearing of vegetation.

Also thanks to N-Tex sand and gravel and Fannin County Precinct 1 for grading and graveling the main road coming into Lake Fannin.
The Lake Fannin Volunteers continue to make great progress on clearing around the historic area. If you are interested in more information on The Lake Fannin Volunteers, here is a link to their Facebook page.
