Allen, Texas -- In District 9-6A action Tuesday night the Allen Lady Eagles defeated the McKinney Lady Lions in straight sets, although all three sets were very competitive.

Allen posted wins of 25-23, 25-23 and 25-20.

McKinney junior Demari Drake led the attack with 10 kills, Olivia Deegan put down seven kills, Elizabeth Wilzbach slammed down six kills and Jenna Ross finished with five kills.

Emily Phillips and Annabel Kilroy both had a pair of aces.

McKinney will host Plano on Friday as district play continues, while Allen travels to Plano East.
