Bells, Texas -- In a District 9-3A opener, the Bells Panthers had a 21-14 lead at halftime and went on to defeat the Leonard Tigers, 35-20.

Leonard (2-2, 0-1) will host the Prairiland Patriots October 4 as district competition continues.

Bells (2-3, 1-0) has a week off before traveling to Pattonville October 11 to take on the Prairiland Patriots.
