Justiss Elementary School pays tribute to veterans

Paris, Texas -- Justiss Elementary School paid tribute to veterans at the annual Veterans Day Program. Twenty-five veterans who are family members and friends of Justiss students attended.

Three former Justiss students currently serving in the U.S. Army were also in attendance. Student Council members presented each guest with special American flags to commemorate the event.

The colors were posted by Boy Scouts Casyn and Jadyn Sanders and Paris Police Department Officer Curtis Garrett.

The choir sang "America the Beautiful.”

Student Council member Willow Mitchell read “Prayer for the Troops.”

Music director Tony Boss concluded the program with “Taps.”
