Ector, Texas -- The Ector Lady Eagles moved to 3-1 on the season with a 17-point win over Texoma Christian School.
Ector led, 12-7, after the first quarter. In the second period, Mollie Hooten hit three triples and a total of 14 points as the Lady Eagles stretched their advantage to 28-17.
Riley Evans and Elsie Hooten drained three-pointers to start the second half as Ector doubled up on TCS, 34-17. Ector maintained that margin to post a 47-30 win.
Ector's Mollie Hooten led all scorers with 16 points, while Elsie Hooten and Riley Evans also finished in double figures with 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
Mary Salazar finished with four points, Jordyn Blakey had three points, Carly Jones put up two points and Chelsi Petty hit a free throw.
Ector travels to Sam Rayburn on Tuesday, November 25, with games scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
