DENISON, Tex. - KTEN-TV, the NBC affiliate serving Texoma, announces a
media alliance with (Texoma Region) Texas and Oklahoma radio stations
owned by NextMedia.
"This is the largest and most comprehensive media alliance in Texoma
history," says KTEN general manager Asa Jessee. "KTEN's SkyAlert10 weather
team - the most experience in the market - will provide weather for six
stations owned by NextMedia."
Texoma's most experienced and most well-educated team of meteorologists
will provide weather for three radio stations serving the greater Grayson
County area and three radio stations serving the greater Ardmore area.
The NextMedia radio stations are: 97.5 K-LAKE FM, KMAD Mad Rock 102.5, and
93.1FM KMKT Katy Country, based in Denison, Texas; and K107.1 KYNZ Texoma's Best Music, Texoma Rocks KTRX 92.7FM, and Texoma Country KKAJ 95.7FM, based in Ardmore.

hotline to Texomans. Beginning March 1, listeners will also get to hear
KTEN meteorologists on the radio."
In addition to providing weather, KTEN News will see that the NextMedia
station have the very latest in Texoma-area news, from their team of
nearly 20 journalists, working out of studios in Denison and Ardmore. KTEN
News will also provide local weather and news headlines for NextMedia's
own websites.
Additionally, NextMedia's Denison-based morning radio teams will deliver
live reports on KTEN News Texoma Today, the NBC affiliate's morning
newscast.

basis giving all of Texoma a look at what the hot topics of the morning
