Bonham, Texas -- The Bonham Warriors defeated the S&S Rams, 64-36, Friday night.

The game was played on "Throwback Night" to honor Steve Hembree, a star athlete in the mid-'60s at Bonham High School who was drafted by a Major League Baseball team and later returned to BHS for a successful run as head boys basketball coach.

In 1971, Hembree began his coaching career at Ector ISD and later coached varsity boys basketball at Bonham, where his teams won 374 games including six district or co-district titles and four runner-up finishes.
