Want to help North Texas Food Bank and enjoy California wine at the same time? Ragtag Wine Co., an award-winning winery in San Luis Obispo, California has decided to donate 50% of all wine sales shipped to Texas through April 30, 2021 to the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). The orders just need to be placed on the winery website http://www.ragtagwineco.com/ prior to the end of April.

"We're hoping to raise as much money as we can for NTFB and help make a difference!" explained Deron Brewer of Ragtag Wine Co.

NTFB has been promoting this partnership; you may have seen Ragtag Wine Co. on their Instagram last Friday, March 5.

"Although we've done a lot of work with our California food banks over the past year, we recently got our license to ship to Texas and thought we'd try to do some good for people in Texas," remarked Mr. Brewer. "Raising money for NTFB seemed just perfect. We're hoping to introduce Ragtag Wine Co. to wine lovers in Texas and raise a lot of money for the North Texas Food Bank!"

The winery's website  goes on to say, "Ragtag Wine Co embodies the belief that the world is a much better place because of the differences between us. It's the diversity of the grapes grown and the people who live here that makes this such a beautiful place to live and make wine. We strive to make our tribute by creating never pretentious, small production wines that celebrate the diversity of the terroir on the Central Coast."

The Central Coast is a six-county region of California that includes the rugged, undeveloped stretch of coastline known as Big Sur.
