Betty Marie Perry was first a child of God and a wonderful helpmate and wife – the Queen of our universe. She was born February 5, 1966 in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Narvell Elisher and Helen Marie Bragg Elisher and Aunt Janice. One of the funniest and caring people that we knew, she loved to babysit and care for everybody’s kids. Affectionately known at BeBe or Betty Boo Shay by friends and family, she dearly loved her parents; they were her best friends. She was a strong and powerful Queen, always willing to help, to listen, and would do anything for her family and friends. This beautiful black Queen was the perfect example of what motherhood looks like.
Betty leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Tony Leroy Perry of Sherman, TX; 3 sons, Randal Bragg of Durant, OK, Robert Perry of Bonham, TX and Tony Smith (Misty) of Okla.; 4 daughters, Cassandra Harris (Burt) of Sherman, TX, Cassidy Bragg of Denison, TX, Katina Walker (Curtis) of Arlington, TX, and Tonya Williams (Gene) of Dallas, TX; 3 brothers, John Bragg (Patsy) of Bonham, TX, Leo Bragg of Houston, TX and Joey Bragg of Fort Worth, TX; one sister, Sherry Ayers of Bonham, TX and 12 grandchildren, Alizja Bragg, Alexus Thomas, Nydric Kelly, Quentin Thomas, Kaia Bragg, Christopher Williams, Jacoby Harris, Hanna Harris, Kaitlyn Perry, Ty Smith, Tambri Smith and Trey Smith and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Bethlehem Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon on Saturday, Apr. 10, 2021. Online guest register www.wisefuneralhome.com
