Van Alstyne, Texas — Mantua, a new 3,000-acre master-planned community just north of Dallas, will hold a grand opening for a new Perry Homes model home Aug. 9-15.
The new Perry Homes model, located at 1600 Swan Street in Van Alstyne, Tex., will be open to visitors alongside model homes built by David Weekley Homes and Highland Homes that opened earlier this year.
The first phase of construction at Mantua is nestled in a lush landscape of creeks and green space in Van Alstyne and will feature 223 single-family homes on varying lot sizes. Future phases are planned to the south in Anna, Texas.
"As one of the largest homebuilders in Texas, Perry Homes has a tradition of striving for excellence that dates back 50 years," said Michael Hanschen, Vice President of Development at Risland. “They understand what home buyers are looking for and need, which is why we’re so happy to have them as part of our community.”
In addition to a growing selection of model homes to choose from at the Mantua master-planned community north of Dallas, development is also underway on a number of on-site resident amenities for Phase 1 of the development, such as the Veranda community center, a resort-style pool with a splash zone for the kids and an extensive trail system for walking, hiking or biking. These amenities and more are expected to open late 2021 and early 2022. Two on-site schools — an elementary school and a high school — are also in the planning stages.
"We're excited to be featuring new home developments from best-in-class builders such as Perry Homes, David Weekley Homes and Highland Homes," Hanschen said. "Two models from Risland Homes will also open later this year, and we're looking forward to those, too.”
