Trenton, Texas -- Donna Kaye Glasscock of Trenton, Texas passed away on October 27, 2021 at the age of 73 with her family by her side. She was born on September 19, 1948 to Joseph Lowery “Jack” Vaden and Ollie “Bernice” (Griffith) Vaden at their home in Durant, Oklahoma. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1966 with honors. Donna married Ricky V. Glasscock on February 19, 1967 in Temple, Texas.

Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trenton. She enjoyed crafting, decorating, and cooking & baking for holiday gatherings with friends and family. Together, Ricky and Donna ran Jack’s Wholesale Meat Company in Trenton for almost 40 years. Jack’s was purchased from the family in 1972 and remained in business until 2011. There, Donna formed many relationships with customers and employees who became lifelong friends.

Donna was a very special lady. She was loving, warm hearted, selfless and talented. Her girls and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. In her retirement she enjoyed cooking and making hand-made gifts for her grandchildren. Her grandchildren made special cards and pictures for her in return, which she so cherished. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Ricky Glasscock of Trenton, Texas; daughters, Lana Beeter of Colleyville, and Stacy Reed and husband, Jerry Bob of Bonham; sister, Debbie Elk and husband, James of Denison and sister-in-law Rose Lawrence of Trenton; grandchildren, Clayton and Jaclyn Beeter, Lily, Luke and Leo Wilson and Hadley and Truitt Spindle; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie Hughes and husband, Eric, Andrew Vaden and wife, Ana, Angie Vaden, JR Vaden, Kimberly Nunn and husband, Derrick, Daniel Elk and wife, Kayley and her great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Bernice Vaden; brothers Larry Vaden and Jackie Vaden; and brother-in-law, Milton Glasscock and wife, Gayle.
