Bonham, Texas -- A pair of Bonham High School alumni will lead their respective teams onto the court Friday night at Leonard Gerner Gymnasium in Bonham for the Warriors' home opener.

Bonham Warrior head coach Eric Hicks, a 2005 graduate of BHS, is entering his second season at the helm of the boys basketball program.

2010 BHS graduate and Tom Bean head coach Blaze Blain will lead his Tomcats onto the same court where he competed.

The Warriors will be hoping to successfully open the season in front of their hometown fans. Tom Bean will be trying to bounce back from a season-opening loss to Valley View.

Hicks and Blaine were both crowd favorites during their playing days at Bonham High School and both will likely bring a cheering section of family and friends for this interesting early-season contest.
