Bonham, Texas -- The Bonham Warriors fell behind early and a second-half rally came up short as the Sanger Indians picked up a 14-point win on the road.
Sanger led 16-10 after the first quarter and 27-17 at the half.
The Indians hit the first basket of the third period to stretch their advantage to 29-17 before the Warriors made their move.
Michael Crosby hit from close range and Cam Bush dropped in a floater as Bonham reeled off an 11-0 run to get within one point of the lead, trailing 29-28.
That was as close as the Warriors would get on a night when the shots just wouldn't fall. Sanger pulled away late for a 48-34 victory on the road.
Avery Coker and Michael Crosby both had 10 points to pace the Bonham offense and Cam Bush was close behind with eight points.
The Warriors (3-1) will compete in the Prairiland Basketball Tournament December 2-4.
