Wesley Cherry

Bonham, Texas -- Wesley David Cherry passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 63. Wes was born in Alabama to Bobby Frank Cherry and Nira Virginia Wood. He moved to Texas in 1972 and has lived in the Bonham area for the last twelve years.

Wesley is survived by his wife, Tracey Dyess Cherry of Bonham, Texas; son David Wesley Cherry and wife Faith of Cuthand, Texas, daughters Angela Hayes and husband Leo of Fultondale, Alabama, and Jamie Cherry of Fultondale, Alabama; two grandchildren Cameron Hale and Justin Dill of Birmingham, Alabama; brother Herman Cherry and wife Brenda of Payne Springs, Texas, sisters Karen Wynn and husband Dennis of Eustace, Texas, Sue Crawford and husband Frankie of Verbena, Alabama, Teresa Johnson and husband Ronnie of Mansfield, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both his parents and brothers Bobby Wayne Cherry and Thomas Frank Cherry.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, February 7, 2:00 p.m., at Phalba Independent Full Gospel Church in Mabank, Texas.
