Bonham, Texas -- Barbara Earle Williams Sanderson, 85, of Bonham, Texas was born on September 14, 1936 in Honey Grove, TX to Margaret Conine Williams and Taylor Clark (Maggie) Williams. She gained her wings and entered her eternal home on Thursday, April 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family, while at the North Star Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Bonham, TX.

At the age of 5, Barbara and her family moved to Marlin, Texas where they lived happily until she was 10 years old. In 1946, Barbara’s family moved to Bonham, Texas where she attended school. She enjoyed cheerleading and being a member of the National Honors Society. Barbara graduated from Bonham High School in June of 1955.

Barbara Earle Williams married Billy Ross Sanderson on June 3, 1955 in Bonham Texas. She worked for the Bonham Independent School District and served as a teacher’s aide until she retired. Barbara has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonham since she was 10 years old. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Barbara is survived by husband, Billy Ross Sanderson of Bonham; sons, Mark Sanderson and wife Peggy of Bonham; Clark Sanderson and wife Denise of Bonham and Kyle Sanderson and wife Brenda of Bonham. Grandchildren, Shannon Sanderson, Derek Sanderson and wife Andrea, Andrew Sanderson and wife Jodie, Owen Sanderson and wife Ashden, Emily Edwards and husband Austen, John Sanderson, Logan Sanderson and Kylie Yandell, Noah Sanderson, Gage Mosley, Bibi Munger and husband Will; great grandchildren, Jacob Mosley, Maggie Sanderson, Audrey Sanderson, Janie Sanderson , Penelope Sanderson, and River Sanderson; brother-in-law, Allen Sanderson and wife Beth of Bonham and brother-in-law, Bobby Sanderson and wife Ginger of Mesquite; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and TC (Maggie) Williams, and brother, Buddy Williams.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the First Baptist Church with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Ken Ussery will officiate. Interment will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Sanderson, Andrew Sanderson, Owen Sanderson, John Sanderson, Logan Sanderson, Noah Sanderson, and Gage Mosley.
