McKinney, Texas -- The Samaritan Inn welcomes Jill Scigliano (pronounced “Sig-Lee-Awe-No") as our new Chief Executive Officer to lead our mission of helping willing people gain dignity and independence. Jill brings with her an impressive breadth of experience to the role and we look forward to growing under her leadership and tutelage.

Jill’s professional history includes various positions in nonprofits and startups: from educational nonprofits, like YMCA, to intensive-care settings, like in-home crisis therapy for youths and their families. Jill was formerly the Executive Director of the residential program at My Possibilities in Plano, serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities find permanent housing solutions.

Previous to that, Jill was the Chief Operating Officer for The Dallas Entrepreneur Center, a nonprofit created to help entrepreneurs create, build and grow their businesses. Jill has also worked with juvenile offenders at Café Momentum in Dallas. She also spent time working with the DC court system for adults with developmental disabilities, which helped her see the value of creating quality systems and the need for systemic change. Jill was also the Chief Impact Officer at The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas for eight years, where she oversaw impact work in education, income, and health.

A native of Pennsylvania, Jill has lived in DFW for over 14 years. She likes to spend time with her partner, Mike, their three dogs, reading fiction, listening to podcasts, watching BBC shows, hiking, and mentoring young professionals. Jill enjoys seeing up and comers achieve their personal goals and live their best life in ways that are meaningful to them.

Outgoing CEO Rick Crocker is slated to retire. We are grateful to Rick for seven years of exemplary service to the residents of The Samaritan Inn and the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
