Denison, Texas — The Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site and the Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site, two Texas Historical Commission properties, will once again participate in the annual Museum Store Sunday event. This global one-day shopping event is hosted by the Museum Store Association in support of museum stores worldwide. The event will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the Sam Rayburn House SHS in Bonham from 10 AM to 4 PM and on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Eisenhower Birthplace SHS in Denison from 12 PM to 5 PM.

The Eisenhower Birthplace Museum Shop features a wide variety of presidential and WWII merchandise, including hard to find, out of print books suitable for adult and young readers as well as collector coins.

All merchandise will be featured at a 20% discount on Sunday, November 27, including four of the White House Historical Association Christmas Ornaments.  With every purchase you make in the Museum Store you support the mission of the Eisenhower Birthplace.

The Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site showcases the modest one-and-a-half-story home where the 34th U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower entered the world in 1890. Family photographs and “Ike” memorabilia fill the visitor center and help tell the real story of the famed WWII General’s life and career. The site also includes a larger-than-life-sized statue and a picnic area. For more information visit or call the Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site at 903-465-8908.
