Bonham, Texas -- In non-conference action Tuesday night at Bonham High School's Leonard Gerner Gymnasium, a fourth-quarter rally by the Bonham Warriors fell short to give the Lone Oak Buffaloes a three-point win on the road.

Bonham's DJ Stewart hit a pair of three-pointers in the opening minutes to help his Warriors slip in front, 13-12, as the opening period ended.

Lone Oak made its move with a 16-5 run in the second quarter to build a double-digit lead, 28-18, at the half.

Bonham battled back to only trail by four points, 34-30, heading into the finale, but Lone Oak held on for a 38-35 victory.

The Warriors will host Whitewright on Thursday, December 15 to open District 11-3A competition and then travel to Dodd City on Monday, December 19 for an 11: 30 a.m. tip-off.
