Honey Grove, Texas -- Robert Glen Livingston was born November 18, 1952, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Harold Glynn and Helen Lorraine Livingston. Mr. Livingston passed away January 14, 2023, in Sherman, Texas.

Robert was a United States veteran who served in the Air Force for nearly twenty years before retiring in 1993. During his service Mr. Livingston traveled the world and served in areas of Desert Shield/Storm. Robert met the love of his life Lynette Rae (Dyer) Livingston and the two were married on June 12, 1971, in Garland, Texas. The couple spent 51 years together before Roberts passing.  He was a man who led a simple life and enjoyed his hobbies such as hunting, fishing, camping, and tending to his beautiful roses.

Mr. Livingston is survived by his wife of the home, Lynette Rae Livingston, sons; Harold Livingston and wife Kim of Austin, Texas, Joseph Livingston and wife Courtney of Houston, Texas, grandchildren; Matt Dubose and wife Lea of Canada, Ben Livingston of Austin, TX, Amanda Livingston of Austin, TX, Meagan Livingston of Waco, TX, Allison Livingston of Houston, TX, Brooke Livingston of Houston, TX, sisters; Barbara Bouton and husband Charles of El Paso, TX, Linda Vanderslice and husband Steve of Petty, TX, Carol Livingston of Petty, TX, Donna Roten of Campbell, TX, Brother-in-law; John Dyer and wife Nina of Dallas, TX, Sister-in-law; Karen Carboni and husband Victor of Mesquite, TX, Uncle; Bill Clark and wife Mary of Electra, TX, Aunt; Reba Whisenant of Dallas,Tx, along with a host of other family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Helen Livingston.

Visitation for Robert will be held Friday, January 20, 2023, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Honey Grove, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 20, 2023, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Honey Grove, Texas, beginning at 11:15 a.m. Bro. Terry Paul Cunningham will preside.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearer is Brandon Moss.
